The weeks

twentytwelve

I have always wondered how it affects you to have that many antennas wired into your head? You must get a lot of noise and irrelevant information coming in. Or what? I call this hair style for Radio Head. It's very popular in Congo and you find it in many variations. You look at this lady's expression. She's worried because she has to handle all the different radio waves filling the (h)air.

Maybe not. It's a country style hair-do. You don't really see it in the streets of Kinshasa. In the city most women will go for a wig if they can afford it. Or straightened hair. Or hair with beads. Or hair with extensions. Anything else than this style which tells people way to obvious, that you are not a city girl.

So this is not a fashion statement, on the contrary.

Have a fashionable week, though.
